The National Indian Justice Center, Inc. (NIJC) is an Indian owned and operated non-profit corporation with principal offices in Santa Rosa, California. The National Indian Justice Center was established in 1983 through the collective efforts of the National American Indian Court Judges Association, the American Indian Lawyer Training Program, and the Bureau of Indian Affairs in order to establish an independent national resource for Native communities and tribal governments. The goals of NIJC are to design and deliver legal education, research, and technical assistance programs which seek to improve the quality of life for Native communities and the administration of justice in Indian country.
EKM&P, Inc. (EKM&P) is a planning, architectural, and engineering firm with offices located in Lafayette, Colorado and Omaha, Nebraska. Our group of professionals has worked together since 1985 to provide planning, pre-architectural programming, design, and transition services for clients throughout the United States. EKM&P staff has provided consulting and/or design services to Native American Tribes throughout the United States. EKM&P staff serves as trainers and consultants to the National Institute of Corrections Jails Division and National Academy of Corrections in a variety of programs. EKM&P designed, developed, and delivered the Planning of New Institutions Program. EKM&P staff has a long history of providing services to Tribal governments, the Bureau of Indian Affairs, local and federal agencies, helping them plan and address operational and facility issues for a variety of project types.
