Curriculum Project

The National Indian Justice Center is pleased to announce that it has received a grant award from the

Administration for Native Americans to conduct a regional community needs assessment survey of

stakeholders who are concerned about improving the current state curricula on Native Americans and

California Indian tribes currently taught in California's public schools.

The next steps for this project include an analysis of the data collected in this survey and

development of strategies to improve lesson plans about California Indians.
