GPS technology is becoming a commonly used tool for construction and maintenance. This course will provide the participant with a general understanding of GPS and the accuracy that can be obtained with this new technology.

Ongoing National Highway Institute: Instructor-Lead Training

New! FHWA-NHI-134077 This course is designed to discuss contract provisions, administrative procedures, and applicable policies related to Federal-aid construction contracts. Ongoing California Construction Contracting Program (CCCP)

California Construction Contracting Program (CCCP): This is the direct result of an agreement between the California Department of Transportation and the California Community Colleges Chancellor, in conjunction with 10 Small Business Development Centers (SBDCs).

The SBDCs provide free classes in four modules on: construction contracts, construction/business law, accounting and cash flow and business management, plans and marketing. All of this is geared toward winning a Caltrans contract. For more information go to buildcalifornia.org home page
