Welcome to the California Tribal Crisis Response Website
The purpose of the Tribal Crisis Response program website is to provide effective tribal crisis response training, increase the number of trauma-informed tribal crisis responders, and most importantly, to help victims, survivors, and tribal communities cope and recover through outreach support.
This website is designed for tribal and non-tribal emergency responders, law enforcement and those interested in volunteering to serve on a tribal crisis response team. It will include future training-of-trainers sessions and support, and how to conduct the training in their own communities.
Financial support was provided by a grant from the California Governor's Office of Emergency Services (CalOES), Tribal Crisis Response Program. Funding made possible through the United States Department of Justice, Victims of Crime Act#: 2022-V2-GX-0031. The authors acknowledge the guidance provided by the project’s TCR Expert Panel.
